For over 25 years Backcountry Recording has been the leader in audio video recording for holistic conferences and retreats. Backcountry is a small family owned business. Originally started by Mark Waters, the company has grown to include his son, Tristen Waters. The main office is located in Portland, Oregon where Tristen continues to uphold Backcountry’s commitment to excellence in recording.
